The upgraded editor that we wrote about last week has been released. This required upgrade comes with some changes to how you use the editor when working with your website. This article explains those changes and provides additional details to help you with this change.

Starting at the end of the Fall 2022 semester, we made a series of infrastructure upgrades for the CHSSWeb system. These have yielded a performance boost of between 40% and 50% across all sites.

We now import chosen name and pronoun information for student bios. This corrects a gap in our coverage that existed because we do not otherwise import student information.

We have added images for some Mason buildings and will be adding more. These images will appear on event listings if you assign your event to a building for which we have uploaded an image and if you choose not to upload your own image for your event.

In October, we released a new design for the program listings on the College website. We have released the first round of updates based on feedback we have received so far.

We have updated the active site selector and, in the process, changed its appearance a bit. These changes speed up the load time for the admin tools by about ten percent.

We have completely overhauled the program listings on the college site. In addition to a new look, they are now searchable with an as-you-type interface and allow you to add a short description.

We have added a built-in option for responding to content messages by adding the content to your site without featuring it to your home page.

We have added the WYSIWYG to the item text for items in content blocks.
