We've added a new feature to the GMU branded URL Shortener tool available in CHSSWeb that will count the clicks on your shortened urls. This counter was added on 2/16/2023, so counts will start from that day. The counts include direct clicks to the shortened URL and visits from its QR code. For more targeted tracking, we recommend using the URL Shortener's campaign parameters feature.
To view the count for a shortened URL, visit the URL Shorteners admin page and click the green pencil next to your shortened url.
We have also moved the QR code display from the main listing of shorteners to the edit page, as seen in the image above. This change will reduce the time it takes for your full list of URL Shorteners to load.
